Voting is one of the most important responsibilities we have [ March 7, 2017 ]
The bargaining teams have spent over two years in negotiations with Treasury Board and have brought back a tentative agreement with our employer. Take the time, be a part of the ratification process. Information sessions and voting sites can be found on the PSAC website. Knowing the changes in your collective agreement is an important first step. Each of the voting sessions will begin with a debrief on the changes to the collective agreement followed by voting. I look forward to seeing you at some of the venues.

Welcome to Our New Vice President [ November 25, 2016 ]
On Thursday, November 24th, 2016 the Local held elections for four key executive positions during our annual general meeting. Three of the positions up for election were filled by returning executive members.
It is with great pleasure that I would like to welcome Grace Morgan, newly elected Vice President to our team. Grace brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our family from past union activism. We are all excited to be working with you.
During this general meeting we were able to acknowledge the valued commitment from two Local Shop Stewards, Louise Sicard, our Lead Mobilization Officer and Diane Girouard, Chair of our Communications Committee and one volunteer, Karen Reimer for her contributions with our Facebook group. Their diligent efforts have had a huge impact on the work of this Local and our engagement with members.
